Auburn boasts several biking and walking trails, including the White and Green River trails and the Interurban Trail. An equestrian trail offers riders a great escape, especially when Mount Rainier is out in all its glory:

Auburn-Pacific Loop - (opening Fall of 2007)

Interurban - runs north/south along Union Pacific railroad, trailhead at West Main Street, Auburn.
