The first section of this dedicated environmental park, endorsed by Rainier Audubon Society, opened in April 2007 within walking distance of downtown. Over 800 native trees and shrubs have been planted and visitors will enjoy nature walks and bird watching.

This 26 acre park also contains a heavily used, lighted sports complex. Many sporting events are hosted at the site, including baseball and softball for youth and adults, soccer, and flag football.Brannan Park is on a flat, open site, with the Green River forming the park's eastern boundary. The park also includes an outdoor basketball court, popular skate park, open play fields, play structure, a .66 mile paved trails, restrooms, picnic tables and barbecue grills.

Game Farm Park is one of the largest and most frequently-used community parks in Auburn. The park contains a wide variety of facilities for organized sports, activities, and special community events. A four field softball/baseball field complex makes it ideal for tournaments and two soccer fields (soon to be synthetic turn) are used for both soccer and football. The hillside backdrop and proximity to the White River creates a spectacular natural setting and a beautiful piece of public artwork adorns the park. The park is popular has picnic shelters and the Len Chapman Amphitheater (both available for rental), barbecue grills, a play area, and outdoor basketball, pickle ball, and tennis courts. A one-mile paved loop trail allows for walks around the meadows, play structures and ball fields.

Game Farm Wilderness Park emphasizes a connection with the natural environment. It has limited development and has preserved most of the native woodland along the White River. The park features 18 campground sites (available April 1-October 15), along with a day camp area, picnic shelter, 18-hole disc golf course, play area and restroom facility. The park serves as an access point to the White River Trail, which continues along the river on the north side of the park from Kersey Way beyond the east end of the park. The park is designed for both overnight and daytime visitors. The group camping area is designed to accommodate recreation vehicles, providing each unit with water and power hook-ups.

Les Gove Park is a park, recreational and educational campus serving the entire community. The cluster of amenities in this campus includes the Library, Parks and Recreation Administration Building,Senior Center and White River Valley Museum. The park features bocce courts, horseshoe pits, a ? mile looped trail with exercise stations, two softball fields, play structure, and a variety of community facilities available for rental. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, children can enjoy the Rotary Spray Playground at the park.

The park's amphitheater has a covered outdoor stage along with tiered open seating for performances, weddings and family gatherings. During the summer, it serves as a venue for various park events including Battle of the Bands in June and Auburn’s Summer Sounds in July.

Mill Pond is a youth-only fishing pond with a dock. The area also includes a grass-lined bio-swale that serves as a storm water detention area during storms. A 1/4 mile paved trail around the circumference of the ponds makes for great bird watching.

This 21-acre community park is located along the banks of the White River, adjacent to Auburn Riverside High School. It serves as the trail head for the White River Trail, which includes both hard and soft-surfaced sections to meet the needs of many different users, including equestrian users. Commissioned artwork for the park includes a uniquely designed bench with a salmon motif, placed to allow views of the river. The park has picnic shelters (available for rental), a restroom, and a play structure.

Veteran's Memorial Park is a popular park close to downtown Auburn and adjacent to Auburn High School's Memorial Stadium. The park is distinctive for its Veterans Memorial structure, shady woods and underlying expanse of green lawn. A new community building will open in July 2007. It has capacity for 85 people and will be available for rentals. The park also features a water spray playground, play structure, 1/2 court outdoor basketball court and barbecue grill. |
