Bocce Courts at Les Gove Park
Bocce is a precision sport closely related to lawn bowling.  Played by all ages, it is very popular throughout the United States. It is one of the fastest growing sports and sharpens the reflexes as well as promotes good fellowship among players. Bocce equipment is available at the Parks, Arts & Recreation Offices, 910 Ninth Street SE, during normal business hours. In 2007, free Bocce instruction is provided by the Auburn Bocce Club on Tuesdays & Thursdays, April 17 through October 18, 2007 from 2-5 p.m. No instruction if there is adverse weather.
